Over the Rainbow

Somewhere - over the rainbow,
Way up high,
There's a land that I heard of,
Once in a lullaby.

Somewhere - over the rainbow,
Skies are blue.
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true.

Someday I'll wish upon a star,
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me . . .
Where troubles melt like lemon drops,
A way above the chimney tops,
That's where you'll find me.

Somewhere - over the rainbow,
Bluebirds fly.
Birds fly over the rainbow,
Why then, oh why can't I?

(Note from Moses -

"Over the Rainbow" is one of my favorite songs. I'm not really sure why. There were few amazing movies on TV when I was a child, and "The Wizard of Oz" was shown every year. Maybe that's why it's special to me.

It has come, in a sense, to represent the camp experience since it is in a way a seemingly make believe world. Also, this is a great song to sing using sign language.)
